Hunter-One Year Photos..

If only we could retain the fervor and adventure of the one year "what can I get intos". I would have to say, this one is after my own heart. I came into his room and the first thing I see is knotty pine, camoflauge, and a coyote hat! He was a busy busy little man! He had places to go and I was delighted to follow him there. We played in his room, downstairs, and outside with a pumpkin, then finally to the cake..and subsequently, a bath. What a great time..

Reagan 3 Years Old

What a beauty SHE is! I walked up to the door and this beautiful little blonde met me on the walkway: bright-eyed, bushy tailed and ready to go. We had a wonderful time. She showed me her backyard play-place and read me a book in her very pink bedroom. I could not have asked for a sweeter, more cooperative three year old.
Truly, TRULY, God out does Himself. I have to say, the joy this little one exuded is something I very much needed on the day of her session. So if these photos are what the family was looking for, wonderful, Praise God, but I think more than anything this session was a blessing to me. It was such a gift to meet this precious little lady and have the opportunity to share in the simple (infectious) exuberance of a child. I said in the beginning that the purpose of this business is to capture "His Image" in every session. I fully believe that the "joy of the Lord" is most clearly captured in that of the face and simple "being" of one of His precious little ones.

Thanks so much Monte for letting me have the day with you and your family, what a blessing it was.
On a side note: I think my new favorite prop is the "whirly pop" from Widman's Chocolate, it adds such beautiful colors to the photos!
(Of course I'm not around for the after effects of a 6 inch sucker...)
