Selah Belle 5 months

I have come to discover that I am a terrible blogger. I guess admitting is the first step to recovery. Things have been buuuusy at home. When I say that it almost sounds like we've been doing lots of things. The simple pursuit of finding time to spend with my husband takes alot more effort than I thought.

Selah Belle has been growing and growing. She has found her toes and her 'G' sound and so she will sit in her bouncy with both feet in hand going ggggggggg'breath'ggggggggg. I think my time is consumed just watching her do all of her silly adorable little things.

Having this time at home to be with her has been such an unbelievable blessing. I have not missed one of her milestones and for that I am so grateful. I can't imagine being anywhere but here with my little lady. Although I admit it has been quite an adjustment to go from our crazy, gone every weekend, 'oh-we live here?' life to our: don't see the outside of our house but once a week, 'what do you wanna do?, I dunno, what do you wanna do?' stay at home and FAREEEZZEE life. But I praise the Lord for the winters and the summers. Like the apostle Paul says "I have LEARNED in all things, to be content"

This is a time that she will only have once and I can't thank God enough that I am here to walk with her through it and experience every little fading quirk she develops.

The Riley's

Once again with the Riley's. This time we had their backyard and beautiful new porch as a backdrop. I wish I would have gotten a better shot of the gorgeous stonework firepit that was done by Wayne and his crew (http://www.rileyslandscape.com/) It is so much fun to see these little ones get bigger and bigger each time we get together..

The Andersons

Second time around for photos with Hunter, this time he had an adorable little brother to join in on the fun: Noah Eric, who was born just one week before our little Selah. It is so much fun to watch the children and families I photograph grow, and add new members and find new little quirks that add so much to their individuality.

Because she's lovely

Just a quick couple..This is how happy my love wakes up every morning so yesterday I took her clothes off quick and got a blanket laid out so I could get some happy, nakey pictures.

She'll forgive me..

And a little more Selah Belle..

So sorry for the delay in postings but motherhood is alot more time consuming than I thought. For a tiny 10 pounder she sure takes up alot of time and energy.

Here is an update on the lovely Selah Belle:

She recently found her tongue and so she is playing with it all the time-which is adorable.
She wakes up smiling and happy-which is adorable.
About a week ago, I was rocking her in my living room chair and she busted out with 2 full on belly laughs in her sleep-which is adorable.
She reaches up to find her ear and grab it while she nurses-which is.....adorable
She has taken to 'up her back' diaper blow outs-which is NOT adorable..
Here is one quick while I get a few more ready..

Selah Belle

It's time for some more Selah updates! She's changing so much every day and I feel so blessed to be able to be able to watch her grow. She's started smiling at me lately and there is nothing more precious than seeing her face light up and her perfect little nose scrunch up when she's happy...or gassy. :)

Here are a few of her, some from when my mom came to visit this weekend. Enjoy..

She loves her Daddy..

Selah Smiles

Thank you all for your patience on my much delayed and sporadic blog posts. She is a busy (lovely & wonderful) little lady. Here is a couple of her sitting on my husbands lap watching a movie. This is still in the smiles=gas stage but adorable nonetheless.

For all of the customers interested in setting up photo sessions. I am now taking no more than 3 sessions per month beginning September 18th. Thank you for understanding as we adjust to the paradigm shift that is our new 'normal'. Life has never been more hectic but also never more gratifying and wonderful.
